Muaykensan for Adults Course
This course (click here for class times) is aimed at teaching you the basics of self-defence. As you progress you will learn more advanced techniques for dealing with more than one attacker. You will develop speed and stamina as well as balance and composure in threatening situations.
We welcome both men and women to join our evening classes and guarantee you will leave feeling more confident and energised.
A typical session will entail a 20 minute warm-up for everybody, followed by 45 minutes of one-to-one practice whereby one person acts as the aggressor while the other performs a basic manoeuvre to counter the attack. The technique is then developed further and students are asked to perform additional moves designed to incapacitate the aggressor. Direct supervision at all times by the sensai.
